Our Story

It started with my daughter Reyna’s beautiful, bouncy hair — and the knots I couldn’t explain.

Brushing became a daily struggle. Tiny tangles. Loose strands. Frustration for both of us.

One night, it finally clicked:

She was rubbing her delicate hair on cotton pillowcases all night long — while I was protecting my own hair with silk.

I didn’t want another routine, bonnet, or product to remember.
I just wanted something that worked quietly, while she slept.

That’s where Silkhead Kids began.

A practical, gentle solution — born from one mom paying close attention.

Little ones don’t stay still.

They roll. Scoot. Flip upside down. Slide off pillows.

So instead of shrinking adult products, we started from scratch.

We chose standard size on purpose, giving kids more room to move — while staying on silk all night.

Every detail was designed with real life in mind:

• thick, 25-momme silk for durability
• hidden zipper and reinforced seams
• playful prints kids actually want to sleep on

Because protection only works if they use it.

I created this brand because I wanted mornings to feel softer — for my daughter, and for me.
