Can I really machine wash SHK silk?

Thanks to our high-quality silk and careful craftsmanship, you can toss your SHK pillowcase in the wash — just follow these simple steps:

1. Wash silk separately — give it its own little spa day 🛁
2. Pop it in our Silkhead Kids laundry bag 🛍️
3. Use cold water only ❄️
4. Set to delicate cycle 🌀
5. Use a mild, silk-safe detergent 🧴 (No bleach, no enzymes, no fabric softener!) 🚫
6. Wash with other soft silks only — no towels, zippers, or scratchy stuff! 🚫🧦

• Air dry flat or hang in the shade ☁️
• Avoid dryers and direct sunlight ☀️🚫

💡 A few little tips

• Silk may lose a bit of shine after washing — totally normal! It’s still just as soft and magical, and the benefits never fade ✨
• Wrinkles? No biggie. They usually settle after one cozy night of use 😴
